Samhara is our own licensed Ayurvedic skin solution — a Thathasthu Herbals formulation, made under our own drug licence at the GMP-certified premises of Aswini Ayurvedic Pharmacy in Sulthan Bathery, Wayanad. It is a light, non-greasy liquid applied directly to the affected skin.
It is made for the stubborn, itchy skin patches that are common in Kerala's humid climate — the kind that keep coming back in skin folds, on the body and between the toes.
What it is used for
- Itchy, red or scaly skin patches
- Discoloured patches on the chest, back or neck (ചുണങ്ങ്)
- Round, itchy patches on the body (വട്ടച്ചൊറി)
- Itching and irritation in the groin and skin folds (തുടയിടുക്കിലെ ചൊറിച്ചിൽ)
- Itching and peeling between the toes (കാൽവിരലുകൾക്കിടയിലെ ചൊറിച്ചിൽ)
How to use
- Wash and dry the area well.
- Apply a thin layer over the affected patch and a little of the skin around it.
- Use twice daily, morning and night, or as directed by a physician.
- Keep the area clean and dry, and wear loose cotton clothing.
- Continue for the full period advised on the pack, even after the itching settles.
Who it suits
Adults with common itchy skin patches. For external use only. Do not apply to broken skin, near the eyes or on mucous membranes. Patch test before first use and stop if irritation increases. If a patch is spreading quickly, weeping, bleeding or painful, or has not improved after the advised period, please see a doctor.
